TBC: 1, Harbour FC: 2

Testwood lose first game since returning from lockdown.

A windy but sunny morning morning in Portsmouth saw Harbour host Testwood in a top three clash. The game started quickly with Harbour displaying some quick passing and moving. Testwood defended tightly and limited Harbour to shots from outside the box. After 15 minutes, Harbour took the lead from an excellent cross which was nudged over the line. Testwood grew into the game and began to show their effective direct approach but sadly could not match the hosts before half time.

The second half saw tempers flare but both teams still trying to play the passing game. Testwood equalised from an accurate cross into the box which was headed in. Moments later a foul on the edge of the box saw a Testwood player dismissed only for a Harbour player to receive the same treatment for poor sportsman behaviour. With 5 minutes on the clock Harbour were awarded a penalty which consequently saw a Testwood player end up in the sin bin. The penalty was dispatched and the hosts ended 2-1 winners.

The return fixture promises to be an exciting one…
